From bexio
The whole financial year
From the exports bexio gives you: contacts, journal, invoice list and supplier invoices. Anything earlier stays closed in bexio.
- Preview firstEverything is calculated and displayed first – nothing is written until the check adds up.
- ContactsCompany and contact person become one customer, as usual in Buchify. Every contact carries its bexio number – a second run finds it again.
- Opening balances and journalThe opening balances come from bexio’s own opening entries; every entry from the cut-off date becomes a Buchify entry.
- Customer and supplier invoicesCustomer invoices become documents, supplier invoices become expenses – so receivables, dunning and the VAT return all add up.
- Open invoices stay openIf a customer pays an old bexio invoice, Buchify recognises its reference on the bank statement.
- Nothing twiceEvery imported line is marked. A later, newer export only brings in what’s been added.
- The checkEvery account changes by exactly the sum of its bexio lines, debit = credit, the balance sheet balances. If it doesn’t add up, nothing is written.
- Numbers carry onIf you like, Buchify continues counting from your last bexio invoice number.
From KLARA and others
Customers and items
KLARA provides reports as PDFs. Customers and items go via Excel – as CSV into the Buchify import.
- Contacts from CSVIncluding from another program’s export. Columns are recognised, duplicates reported.
- Opening balance sheetFor a switch in the middle of the financial year, we help you carry over the opening balance sheet.
What doesn’t come along
Better said up front.
Stays in bexio
On purpose.
- The original PDFs. They stay in bexio. The document in Buchify says so, instead of printing a wrong new one.
- Years before the cut-off date. They are posted and closed in bexio.
Not yet
What’s still missing.
- Customer invoices in foreign currency. Buchify currently calculates in Swiss francs.
